At Mahek’s Atelier, our certifications are designed to reflect both skills and commitment. The following policies ensure fairness, consistency, and high standards across all courses.
1. Eligibility for Certification
- Certification will be awarded only to students who:
- Attend the full duration of the course/session.
- Follow class guidelines and instructions.
- Partial attendance or early departure may result in no certification being issued.
- Full payment of fees.
2. Attendance Requirement
- 100% attendance is mandatory for certification.
- In case of unavoidable absence:
- Prior notice must be given.
- Make-up sessions are only guaranteed if we are notified earlier.
- Missed classes shall not be rescheduled if the student notifies us one day prior or on the day of the class.
3. Participation & Performance
- Active participation during the session is required.
- Students must:
- Engage in hands-on practice.
- Demonstrate understanding of techniques taught.
4. Conduct & Professionalism
- Students are expected to maintain:
- Respectful behaviour towards instructors and peers.
- Cleanliness and hygiene during sessions.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may lead to:
- Removal from the class.
- Disqualification from certification.
5. Non-Transferability
- Certifications are:
- Non-transferable.
- Issued only to the registered participant.
- Handed in person to the student. No digital certificates shall be issued, nor shall they be sent by mail.
6. Use of Certification
- Certification indicates successful completion of training at Mahek’s Atelier.
- It does not guarantee employment or commercial licensing.
7. Intellectual Property
- Recipes, techniques, and course materials:
- Are for personal or professional use by the student.
- Cannot be resold, redistributed, or taught commercially without permission.
8. Right to Withhold Certification
Mahek’s Atelier reserves the right to withhold certification if:
- Attendance criteria is not met.
- Code of conduct is violated.
- Fees are not paid in time.
